Biography

Md. Mahmudul Hasan (Raziv) is a distinguished legal academic with over a decade of combined experience in higher education and professional legal practice. He brings exceptional expertise in teaching and research in the fields of Constitutional Law, Land Law, Advocacy, Human Rights, and Civil and Criminal Procedure.

Mr. Hasan began his professional career as an Associate at Juristic Law Chamber and subsequently served as Legal Officer at Labaid Properties Ltd. and Sikder Group, where he acquired substantial hands-on experience in corporate and property law. Since fully transitioning to academia in 2015, he has dedicated himself to advancing legal education and mentoring the next generation of legal professionals.

He holds both LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. degrees from the University of Dhaka, providing a strong academic foundation for his teaching and scholarship.

An accomplished scholar, Mr. Hasan has published extensively on topics such as land law, company law, banking law, and real estate law, and has contributed as an editor to reputable legal journals. He is enrolled as an Advocate with the Dhaka Bar Association (DBA), Dhaka Taxes Bar Association (DTBA), and the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA).

Beyond the classroom, he is deeply committed to fostering student engagement and professional development through debating, court visits, counseling, moot court competitions, and clinical legal education initiatives. His dedication to academic excellence has earned him several accolades, including the prestigious 100% Class Attendance Award.
