Biography

Dr. Mohammad Shoeb Mahmud is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law of WUB. He has completed both LL.B and LL.M from University of Dhaka. He got Ph.D. from Islamic University, Kushtia on the title of “Legal Regime of Competition Governance and Competitive Business Environment in Bangladesh” under the supervision of Professor Dr. Halima Khatun in 2016. He has an extensive teaching and research experience. He started his career as a Lecturer in the Department of Law of Sylhet International University in 2009. He also taught at Leading University, Sylhet and Sheikh Fazilatunessa Mujib University, Jamalpur. He was also a Legal Drafter and Consultant almost two years in the World Bank funded project implemented by Ministry of Forest. He has drafted more than 22 rules under the Wildlife (Conservation & Security) Act. 2012 under this project. He has published and accepted notable articles in various standard journals and edited books.
