Dr.
Mazharul Islam completed his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D. in Law), Master
of Philosophy (M. Phil. in Law) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) from South Asian
University, New Delhi, India. He has successfully conducted a research project
of the European Commission on ‘Trade and Human Rights’. Additionally, Dr. Islam
obtained Post Graduate Diploma (PG.D.) in International law and PG.D. in
International Human Rights from Indian Society of International Law (ISIL). He
also studied at The Hague Academy of International Law, Netherlands. Dr. Islam worked as a Research Intern at SAARC Secretariat Nepal.
He is also an enrolled advocate at Dhaka Judge Court. Dr. Islam is
currently teaching at the Department of Law, World University of Bangladesh.
His areas of interest include International Law, Trade Law, Refugee Law, Human
Rights and Humanitarian Law.
