Biography

Mr. Shadman Akib Mostafa  MCIArb MAIADR APD is an award winning Legal Practitioner, currently working as a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Law at World University of Bangladesh. He possesses 9 years of experience, of working in the corporate sector having previously worked in roles such as Chief Legal Officer, Legal Advisor, Legal Counsel and Legal Officer. He has also worked as a Panel Mediator and ADR Counsel for Centre for International Alternative Dispute Resolution (CIADR) and Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC).

Mr. Mostafa possess expertise in areas such as International Commercial Law, Company Law, Contract Law, Public International Law, Intellectual Property Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Online Dispute Resolution (ODR). He is also an accredited Mediator having received accreditation in 2018 from ADR ODR International, based in United Kingdom and from Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI), based in Singapore.

Mr. Mostafa has received member status from various prestigious international organizations such as Chartered Institute of Arbitrator (CIARB), International Bar Association (IBA), Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (AIADR), Prime Disputes.
